Courtroom Experience

Kate has a wide array of trial experience: from a heavy truck product liability trial in federal court in Texas, to a six-week construction site negligence trial in state court in California, as well as four Wisconsin state court trials. Her blend of empathy and tenacity makes her an effective advocate for her clients in a courtroom.

She does not just fight fiercely for her clients in the courtroom, but during pre-trial litigation as well. She has successfully written appellate briefs to the Supreme Court of California and successfully written and argued briefs before the Appellate Division of New York to support her clients’ ability to pursue justice for the negligence and wrongdoing that caused their injuries.

Kate earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she graduated with cum laude honors and was a recipient of the Dean’s Academic Achievement Award. Kate is a “Double Badger,” having also earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
