Ms. Brown is an active member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers. She has lectured before many nursing organizations on nursing malpractice and medical malpractice.
Education
Ms. Brown earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from UW-Milwaukee in 1977 and a master's degree in advanced nursing practice from Marquette University in 1990. She graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1999. She was a student editor for the Federated Insurance Corporate Counsel Quarterly and a member of the editorial staff of the Elder Advisor - Journal of Elder Law. Ms. Brown was a member of the Marquette Law School's National Health Law Moot Court Team. In addition, she was an intern with Justice Patrick Crooks of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Background
Ms. Brown was born on January 19, 1956, and raised in Mequon, Wisconsin. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Brown was a nursing instructor at UW-Milwaukee and worked as a registered nurse in critical care for many years. She currently resides in Germantown, Wisconsin, with her husband, Dr. David Imse, and their daughter, Tracy.
